Douglas Thomas, a multi-instrumentalist singer-songwriter from Lancaster, PA, forges a new path between folk and avant rock. This summer Thomas is releasing his sophomore EP, Gone to Seed. In 2012 he released Trimmings and was a featured performer at XPN2 and World Cafe Live.

It's Been Too Long

I finished graduate school, moved back to Lancaster, and started two jobs: one with the City of Lancaster as the Sustainability Planner and one as Music Director at Wisdom's Table @ St. Peter's UCC. The bivocational life continues. I've been writing new material, jamming with new musicians, and preparing for some gigs this summer. Keep an eye on the LIVE page. I'll be opening up for Justin Nozuka on June 23rd at the Chameleon Club, which I'm excited for. There may be a special guest joining me. Life is busy. More to come.

Kickstarter Rewards in Progress

Well, posters are ordered, stickers have arrived, 35 letters have been written, the album digitally distributed to backers, and a discography assembled. Kickstarter is fully underway. Look out for upcoming releases this fall/winter.

Back From Tour

Music video out. Radio debut on WXPN. Back from tour. Kickstarter funded. New album is finished. Overflowing with gratitude, reeling with excitement. What's next? I will be working hard to get the new album reviewed, promoted, and listened to before the official release on September 30th. Thank you to everyone who made the tour a smashing success, especially my drummer and dear friend Dan Romans, who booked most of the dates, Ben Young offered his car and performed bass, Bowski who offered us his van and performed alongside us with Mount Gomery, and Ryan Hare for joining my band and co-headlining every tour date as Mount Gomery.

Kickstarter has Gone to Web!

Purchase and receive the album in advance! Hire us to perform at a show! I'll compose music for you!

I am trying to raise enough money to finish the mixing/mastering of the album, along with some promotional material that will help give you rewards and support the album release on September 30th. Take a moment and hear all about it.

With Love,
